Michael Gough, Batman's Alfred, dies aged 94

The British actor, Michael Gough, best known for playing Batman’s butler, Alfred, died at age 94.

Surrounded by family and his ex-wife Anneke Wills, Gough died of old age, at home in England on Thursday. Gough appeared in more than 150 movies and television shows, including movies like ‘Batman’, ‘Sleepy Hallow’ and science-fiction show ‘Doctor Who.’

Gough remains best remembered for his role as Alfred Pennyworth in the Batman franchise, starring opposite Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and George Clooney.
