Operation launched to eliminate encroachments from parks

On the orders of the Supreme Court, the City Government Karachi has launched operation to wipe out encroachments from parks.

The SC had ordered the city government to eliminate encroachments from parks but the government had asked to grant time of one month for this purpose. After the completion of paper work, the city government has launched the operation.

In the first phase, operation is being carried out in Major Ashraf Shaheed Park in Gulberg Town. Rangers and police were also helping the anti-encroachment cell of the city government.
