Preeti Desai shoots an intimate passionate scene in her debut movie with the Sendhil Ramamurthy who is American actor.
Preeti Desai is famously known as Actor Abhay Deol’s girlfriend in the industry. Preeti Desai is making her debut in bollywood with this movie and has great expectations from the movie.
Though, this is Preeti Desai debut movie, Preeti Desai seems quite confident about shedding clothes and going that extra mile to get into the skin of the character and accepting the requirements of the script.
It happened so that this steamy scene had to be shot twice. After watching the first take of the scene, the director had some qualms about the scene as he thought that there was not enough passion and chemistry between the two of the actors, so he decided to re shoot the entire scsene and thus, both Preeti Desai and American Actor Sendhil Ramamurthy had to re shoot the scene.
Later on, with the 2nd shot, the director seems happy, but now, Preeti Desai is having second thoughts. She thinks that the scene is too steamy as per the Indian audience.
Preeti Desai thinks that the audience may not accept her out and out bold nature of work and may not accept her as a serious actress.
But guess, she is forgetting the fact that it is the same audience which accepted the urban version of Devdas, Dev D, which was a big hit and at the same was much critically acclaimed.
Dev D depicted drugs, prostitution, and alcoholism under one roof. But it is the treatment which is paramount in the movies.
Preeti Desai debuts under Balaji and the movie would be tittled Shor In The City.
